Yep, my own scheduling solution.

I had a particular set of problems at that time. I was conducting and managing a psychology research group and needed to schedule slots of time for an n number of participants. This needed to be user-facing so participants could access the link, check details, and select a time slot to schedule with others.

So bookmein.app was born.

Internally, I used Bookmein.app for almost two years before trying to make a product out of it.

It kind of worked?? I made my first 10usd monthly subscription with Bookmein, so lots of learning! At that time, payment integrations were a pain in the ass. Somehow I used paypal as payment processing. I remember it being nightmarish...

I became convinced I had to do something, somehow, to have a Stripe account (flash forward, I got one on 2021!).

After a while, I started just forgetting about Bookmein, and now Calendly has implemented similar functionality. I had a couple of clients asking me if they could use bookmein as part of their solutions (as Whitelabel software) and just referring them to calendly...

Looking back, clearly missed opportunities there.
